Ms. Megan Brown was born and raised in New York. She has been living in Virginia since completing her undergraduate program. Outside of work she enjoys baking, being active outdoors and spending time with her husband and three children.
Megan earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Boston College and subsequently worked at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital on a General Surgery/ENT floor. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing at the George Mason/George Washington collaborative program. She began her Family Nurse Practitioner career in Primary Care and has spent the last 5 years working in Geriatrics/Internal Medicine. She is eager to be rejoining a Primary Care practice where she can work with patients of all ages.
Megan is excited to be back in a Primary Care setting. Her passion is to focus on health promotion and disease prevention throughout the lifespan. She understands the importance of utilizing evidence based medicine to guide her practice. She works with her patients to incorporate recommended health care changes into their lifestyle.
My goal is to create a collaborative relationship with each patient. By establishing trust in each other we can have the greatest success in healthy outcomes for you!
